All vehicles intended for sleeping in MUST contain a CO alarm. Go for a brand name (Fireangel recommended). Test this on every trip and keep mounted at head height.
If using your diesel heater after even a short drive, monitor the start up procedure as this is the most likely time for errors to occur.
Most diesel heater installs allow the use while driving. However, in the UK and France its currently illegal to run them while refuelling.
NEVER manually prime your diesel heaters. This can cause major damage, unless being instructed by one of our team, please avoid priming. Please contact us first for help.
